Community Building
Early along in the development of Women Alone Together, women let us know that the seminars weren't enough. They wanted to build on the rapport that was evident during our seminar breaks. As a result, Saturday Sisters and Reading Group began on a regular basis.
In addition, informal movie and dinner get-togethers, travel events, and others occur and continue to evolve.
We are limited only by our interests and initiative.
Reading Group
Building on the "substantive" element of our focus, a monthly reading group seeks out books that motivate, inspire, and entertain.
Click here to see a list of the books we've read.
To join the separate Reading Group email list, click here and notify WAT Book Group Leader.
Saturday Sisters
We've been so busy with programs that these informal gatherings haven't been happening. We will hold this popular event whenever someone can volunteer as hostess. If you can host a Saturday potluck luncheon, send an email to
info@womenalonetogether.org.
Hostess need only provide the location. Everyone brings a dish so food is covered. We will manage drinks, dishes, etc. depending on the hostess' choice.
Travel Opportunities
Our friends at Agnes Scott College Alumnae office graciously extend an invitation to join them on trips they organize. Check this link for details about the trips.
If you don't see one now, check back.
